Holy Crap

ISBN-  978-0-615-3334-852000

Using the words "Holy" and "crap" together are risky at best for book title purposes. However, it caught your eye long enough to stir interest and that's why it works. Everyone has a story. Each of us has survived our fair share of "crap".

"I have chosen to believe that all of the messy stuff I have endured has been strategically and divinely used in my life to fulfill purpose. The life stories on the following pages are true. Every tear, every heartache and every rescue. I was not called to an easy life: I was chosen to live one of purpose."

"He didn't make the messes, but He didn't mind getting His hands dirty and pulling me out of the pile!"

"His grace has sustained me but it's up to me to take the mess I call "crap" and make it fertilizer for others."

The conversation that required I use the words "Holy" and "crap" together was one I enjoyed having with God. He said "it's ok. It was "crap" but I made it "Holy."

Holy Crap is available in paperback and via kindle here.

Chasing Legacy

ISBN-  978-0-692-21706-152000

Legacy Happens.  Intentionally or unintentionally, we will leave evidence of our existence.  We cannot leave an inheritance we do not posess.  Materialistic, emotional or spiritual bequests are limited by what actually happens on the journey.  Our success in life is not measured by how much we accumulate to leave others when we die.  It is measured by the lives we influence along the way.  It is not our dying that establishes our legacy.  It is found in our living.  If we want to leave a legacy, sometimes we will have to chase it.

Just Judy - Volume 1

ISBN- 978-0-615-46923-251500

"This book is simply a compilation of several columns, articles, blogs and observations I have written over many years. It is my desire that you would glean from my experiences and discover something valuable to use as a life application."

"The use of knowledge and experience leads to wisdom. That is what I would like to use in making my life decisions, wisdom. Good judgment and prudence make for a successful life. If I could mx wisdom with virtue, morality, honesty and decency I would be able to achieve something great. A blessed and fulfilled life."

"Where are the "Vision Casters"? Where are the "Dream Pushers"? Didn't anybody tell these kids when they were small that there was a great plan for their lives and they could be anything they wanted? Hasn't anyone spent five minutes digging deep into their souls to find their passions?"

"My Mother told me to love others but it was not her words that taught me to love, it was her love. She encouraged me to be forgiving of other's faults. I developed that ability by watching her forgive my dad over and over through 58 years of marriage."

"I am what I am. My opinions are based on the truth of the Bible and I make no apologies. I have learned more from my mistakes than I have from my successes. Trust me, you will too."

Who Washed the Sky?

There is a moment in grief recovery where we discover something solid enough to hold the weight of our pain- just long enough to help us balance and stand back up. Some word, thought or opportunity that gets our attention and distracts us from the darkness. For me, it was conversation with God. - Judy Nothing you could have done would have prepared you for how you actually feel right now and there are no absolute answers.

Divine Dysfunction

"I have chosen to believe that all of the messy stuff I have endured has been strategically and divinely used in my life to fulfill purpose."

"The life stories on the following pages are true. Every tear, every heartache and every rescue. I was not called to an easy life: I was chosen to live one of purpose."

"He didn't make the messes, but He didn't mind getting His hands dirty and pulling me out of the pile!"

"His grace has sustained me but it's up to me to take the mess I call "dysfunction" and make it function to help others survive."

"I can clearly describe how much He loves me by understanding what it is to love someone who intentionally harms you. Even in my young mind, I discovered ways to hold on to what I knew of God long enough to maintain my sanity."
